Camila: Hi Gabi, how are you?
Gabriela: Hi Cami, good and you?
Camila: Good, I'm glad you are well.
Gabriela: I'm glad too
Camila: Imagine that that day I was watching a futuristic movie and I was so surprised because I felt that we were already living it.
Gabriela: that also happens to me when I watch that kind of movies.
Camila: and what do you think about it, how do you think things will be in the future?
Gabriela: one of the main advances and changes will be in medicine where robots capable of performing surgeries will be developed and robotic nursing will appear; doctors and nurses, who today spend 70% of their time on administrative tasks, will be able to concentrate on patients and make complex and/or creative decisions that exceed the capacity of artificial intelligence; 3D printing is another factor to take into account and 71% of people are already confident that by the year 2030 3D printed organs can be implanted at the patient's request.
Camila: yes, I am also surprised that so many advances have been predicted that sound so real and are not so far away from happening such as the disappearance of the Internet, modified humans versus robots, vacation without traveling, autonomous cars, no bills or coins, it sounds crazy but it is really happening.
Gabriela: Yes, the truth is that I am so surprised because every time more and more inventions and advances come out that we never thought would happen.
Camila: We will be used to living with drones, cameras and smart screens when we go shopping. These will be used both for businesses to optimize their inventory and to collect as much information as possible from consumers (including our emotions), in order to please our tastes.
Gabriela: Mobile phones will also be the ideal way to interact with stores, through mannequins with QR codes, for example, as well as to make payments.
Camila: The combination of smart cameras, shelf sensors and RFID technologies will make automated checkouts an increasingly common reality, as well as autonomous online order warehouses, which will be based on robotic technology.
Gabriela: I am already looking forward to new developments.
Camila: Me too, and we don't know everything that has already been created, which will also surprise us.
Gabriela: yes, I invite you to watch the movie space sweepers and next time we will talk about it, do you think so?
Camila: Of course, I love talking to you.
Gabriela: Me too, see you soon, bye.
Camila: Bye
